it's been quite a while. i guess i've lost my motivation to blog.. well partly due to my busyness, and yes because i'm lazy too.
i've been out everyday, reaching home feeling really tired and my way of relaxing is more on watching prison break season 3 or reading eyeshield21 manga.. no other time for other things =P
i can hardly remember things that have been going on.
well we had our first combined unit sowing event some sat ago, decided to go to national museum to check out on the greek masterpieces.. yes.. a very unique activity indeed... i was pretty unwilling at the beginning haha but went there anyway. it turned out to be pretty fun (esp the first and the last half an hour there). we took many silly pictures wearing the greek robe.
after the dinner, germs had this idea of eating cheesecakes at great world city, so off we went.. extremely fattening activity but it wrapped the day up nicely. cheesecakes.. what else can i say.
i went to watch 'there will be blood' as well. we loved it so much, i think it's a great great movie. daniel day-lewis is captivating.
last week was also the first time we had combined adults cg at nexus. ps jeff shared an extremely funny and refreshing teaching about the importance of cg.
cg is your family.. and it's definitely more than just a cg meeting. it's a life form. it's really sad if you're not enjoying your cg.. i really think so.
i have been attending hope sem's class for the past few weeks, entering the 3rd week of old testament last tue, we had a map test! i haven't studied for many many years, so you could imagine how hard it was for me to memorize things again. anyway, the test was not that hard, but it's pretty disappointing that i couldn't get full mark, i was really hoping for it ><
there will be another test this coming tue...
think back again, i've learnt so much just during these 3 sessions. abraham, isaac, jacob, joseph, moses and so on and on.. they're just ordinary people with many flaws but God used them greatly. obedience and faith. that's the key. i'm looking at old testament from a different angle now.
