it has been very long since the last time i saw so many of my relatives gathering in one place. the trip home was quite fruitful.. managed to eat lots of delicious food and met one of my nephew for the first time. couldn't believe how the city celebrated chinese new year openly, with non-stop fireworks and street performances, i wonder if i was really in indonesia.. this would not happen years ago.
sometimes things can just happen. may it be gradually or overnight. but things that we never imagined before could come to pass.
my whole family went to the beach (bintan resort area), it's funny that i went there yet eve just came back from there.. we kinda switched place.
one of the interesting happening is when my dad's friend invited us to dinner. when we reached there, lo and behold, there's a heavy traffic jam.. simply because there were too many cars parked outside the house! 0_o socialites gathering. that's the word. the house is huge.. not sure how many storeys there are but they have a garden big enough for you to hold a garden wedding. everyone dressing up nicely, smiling to one another, not even knowing who you say hi to, trying to make simple conversation.. being polite.. LOL. man.. that was not the best place to be in. imagine doing it every week.... *livi* 6:04 PM
