i learnt a lot of chinese songs today =p
it's my second visit to ktv, honestly it is not my fave hangout place considering that i can only sing limited songs. the guys were totally into it, non-stop hokkien songs (some songs that my dad used to sing).. i took a good pic of esmond, but he deleted it! tsk.
anyway, couldn't believe that we sat there for 4 hrs. lol.
today's ss was great, really love the sermon. the part on guys being chivalrous was hilarious, one thing that i think they should take note is to walk slower when they are with girls, i mean at least when they are with me cos i walk quite slow.. do not walk in front of me, walk beside me. LOL.
but of course we gals should take note a lot of things also. heh.
i had a good talk with joan and anne (from thai IF) on sat before i brought them to youth ss. anne was sharing the principle of being a tent-maker, to go to a place, not to enjoy yourself but to really find a job, settle down and live together with the locals, to be with them so that we can share God's love with them. just like jesus came down for us.
it's just so great talking to them, their love for God is so real.
one more important thing to understand, we gotta start serving and growing in our local church first, how can you keep thinking of going if you are not ready? you don't wanna go to a place and give ppl trouble due to your lack of maturity.
heroes are not just those who really GO out to a certain country, there are many heroes in our local church too. =)
i think they are really inspiring. hope to get to know more and more ppl with heart for God like them. too bad we didn't take any pic together.
it's funny that as i'm making new friends, at the same time i feel like giving up certain friendship in my life.
