just talked to siew ling, she asked if i wanted to join her for baking class, with $32 learning on how to bake nice:
- YOGHURT CHEESE CAKE WITH BLUEBERRIES
- CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
aaaawwww..... don't you think it will be a miracle if i can really bake those? haha..

anyway it's such a blessing that i got to know her better thru the camp. in fact i realized that i've come to know some ppl much deeper within these few weeks and of course during the 4 days in malacca.
kawan go melaka was definitely the most relaxing camp i've ever been to, with focusing much on building friendship, the whole camp gave me a warm feeling.. a family.. and i'm so glad i was there.

i have confession to make... the truth is i didn't set any objective for this year's camp, in fact i was not really anticipating it. it was a kinda last min thing that me and susi could make it to camp without problem. reaching newton at 7 am, we found out that weiling was having a high fever, she was there but half dead. we prayed for her and i was amazed with her determination to hang on. she spent her first day in malacca's medical centre and i realized one more thing from this, siew ling is such a good friend n sheep to her.. and it's just so great seeing how our unit was united and prayed much for her. indeed she was healed just within 2 days (as what she shared in last day's testimony)
God is really good =)

the camp was filled with many gatherings. i got to know lusi, anne, penny, catherine better from our QT sessions. not to mention those in ng8b considering that joseph (our ula) gathered us in his room for so many times lolx.
got to know the ppl thru the workshop too. we even had a 'speed friendship' sessions, that was hilarious man.. it's totally like speed dating, just that in a biblical way hahaaa...
anyway all of us did enjoy the camp much.

i saw many familiar faces, well more and more ppl stepping into the adults world. with only adults in the camp, i think it's very focused and the family factor's stronger..
thank God for the leaders for making such great performances and videos, don't think i'll ever forget the dance.
i had a chance to work with the media team again, they are very encouraging ppl.
spent some time talking to the girls as well and dear susi bought me a cheesecake haha.. i ate it while watching the world cup. suddenly my long lost interest towards soccer just came back.
by the way have i mentioned how much i loved the bed and pillow... for information we stayed in an apartment kinda room (with few bedrooms, living room, dining room n kitchen) and the view's good.
from this camp, i realized that there are a lot of couples in our church as well..
yup of course not forgetting the teachings, very simple yet applicable.
friendship. what a theme =)

a few things that i brought back home:

freedom in christ.everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial.
what it means to be in adults with all the different ways of handling life-

forgiveness.
healing and cleaning my heart-

how do i rate myself as a friend?

lastly, i saw a few nice posters made by the deco team.. couldn't help to take down some of them:
- friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer
- true friendship can afford true knowledge, it does not depend on darkness and ignorance
- my best friend is the one who bring out the best in me
- i value the friend who for me finds time on his calendar, but i cherish the friend who for me does not consult his calendar
- friends are God's way of taking care of us.
