Joke Of The Day
After a ship sank in the ocean, three men ended up stranded in a lifeboat. They floated around for days without food or water. One afternoon a bottle floated up to the boat. The men grabbed the bottle and when they pulled the cork out of the bottle, a genie appeared.
"I'll grant each of you a single wish," said the genie. "I wish I was home," said the first man. Then, poof! He disappeared.
"I wish I was home, too," said the second man. Poof! He disappeared.
"The third man looked around. "Gee, I'm kind of lonely," he said. "I wish my friends were here with me."

You are Monolopy! You are complicated but heaps of fun.
It may seem like you have been around for ever but you never seem to get boring.

had a great dinner last night during cg, germs brought a lot of home cook dishes (cooked by her maid hehe). it's amazing to see someone's growing step by step, am so happy to see one of my new believer shirlyn started to evax and involved in serving God, how we can see her desire to know God even more. there's no greater joy when you see someone's life changed and get closer and closer to God =)
"things around us can change, but only my love to God won't change"
can we make this promise together? even when you change your school, course, group, leader, country, situations, everything... amen?

wah what a tiring day.... walked a lot (with high heels some more)... anyway we had our international mooncake festival at SP HQ today, quite a lot of ppl turned up... dominated by visitors from china. there were lots of food man... and i mean really a lot..... i prepared 4 dishes (supposed to be indonesian food)-- beef rendang, perkedel (potato), kangkong and tahu goreng haha bought it though cos you know err i can only cook indonesian instant noodles.... i think all the food prepared were nyummy, i kept adding to my plate and i think i was one of the person who ate the most there....
it was really really fun, especially when we played scissors paper stone in a modified chinese version with action, pearline was so comical...had a really good laugh. then we went down to the park and played games yeah! basically the game was to blow other team's candles and burn their rope. there were 3 teams: orange, blue and purple. i was in blue and we won hahaha.... after that we just relaxed down and talked, sang songs... it was amazing to see so many colourful lanterns lighted up... very beautiful...
anyway it was a great way to get to know one another, even to other group's visitors or new believers. enjoyed the day a lot.. and i know God has made a way for us to connect a lot of ppl through this event...
feeling >> extremely full... and i just had some ice cream also... hehe

Time for Riddles
Twelve pears hanging high, twelve men passing by. Each took a pear and left eleven hanging there. How can this be?
** Each was the name of one of the men passing by **
There's a one storey house that's all blue inside. The floor was blue, the lamps were blue, the walls were blue, everything was blue. What color were the interior stairs?
** It's a one storey house, so there are no stairs **
If an electric train is going east at 60 miles an hour and there is a strong westerly wind, which way does the smoke from the train drift?
** Electric trains don't produce smoke **
Joke of the Day
A man flew to Florida and checked into a motel to await his wife who would be meeting him the next day after a business trip. At the motel he decided to send his wife an e-mail from his lap-top computer. While entering her address he typed one letter wrong and his note was directed, instead, to an elderly preacher's wife whose husband had passed away only the day before. When the grieving widow checked her e-mail, she took one look at the message, let out a piercing scream, and fell to the floor in a dead faint. Her family heard the noise and rushed into the room to find her on the floor and this note on the screen:
Dearest Wife, Just got checked in. Everything is prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
Signed,
Your eternally loving husband.
P.S. Sure is hot down here!

ok i'm back.... hehe kind of miss my pc. hmm nice hoilday trip back, ate a lot... my parents have been feedin me and shirls with lots and lots of food... all chilli stuffs of course hehe.... it's a good time rest... i went back right after the family day on sunday so can you imagine my mom's reaction when she saw me with a total sunburn on my face and my whole body suddenly became double darker than usual hahaha it was so obvious.... guess that's the price u have to pay from the event, and the yellow stripe that we put on our nose...turned out to be a sun block, so my nose got one stripe as the rest was like as red as a crab.
i think everybody's blog has been puttin this for the past few days but anyway i still wanna share bout our first family day... awesome man, i think nobody left the place in not happy feelin... the whole thing really made all of us more bonded. especially for us the poly group (and yes we're yellow!) the night before that all the cls and clas stayed overnight at tp hq, we spent the whole night drinking coke hahahah as we need the bottles for cheerin... good thing we didn't get diarrhoea because of that.... we practised the cheerin at the bus stop hahhaa and we all reached the stadium earlier to practise together. quite amazed how all of us didn't feel tired at all with so little sleepin time...
i think we all really did our best in every games, but most important was all of us really united... we turned out to be quite strong hahah anyway northeast won the championship, happy for them... and we won the cheering competition!!! well we did put lots of effort for it, till yy's pail crashed into smithereens (sorry for you yy)
we celebrated pastor jeff bday also.. haha i still remember how we celebrated his bday last year at nexus with all the performances. really blessed by him all along and it's a great vision to see youth service in the stadium one day..!! isn't it great to be with God and all God's people together, not just having fun but really building life together....

CLICK ME....! try this people.... a smile guarantee!

wanna share some of my thoughts today. that day i went to the clc1 class at sp hq to host and lead the worhip, priscilla was teaching the poly group. quite amazed when i heard the teaching all over again after almost 2 years, lots of basic things that we tend to forget:
SUBMISSION AND ACCOUNTABILITY to God, to spiritual leaders. How to be a good armor-bearer, put leader's priority as top, always pick up their calls and reply their messages immediately, never late for meeting, accept them for who they are and respect them. teachable-available-faithful... so simple yet powerful lesson.
At district prayer meet we learned bout "Lord is my shepherd", it's a great blessing that we are all under spiritual covering in the church, when i think back of how my shepherds (from josh, jaslin to jasmine) have blessed me and guided me, from the encouragements to all kinds of corrections throughout the years, wah can't describe man...i guess one sentence... ahem ^_^ " I Love You Shepherd!" haha...
This month is "shepherds' month" people, be the best shepherd and sheep that you can be!
"The best gift that you can give to your leaders is to take care of your own spiritual life well"

heh interesting lesson today.."communication".. never know that there are so many things to learn bout it... your communication skills is very important, it determines whether ppl are listening to you, following you! well there were few times where alan tea wanted us to go to the front and share some thoughts, testing our comm skills wah... quite scary but exciting man, actually when the part of sharing about conviction, i wanted to raise hand and shared my conviction of "how delicious duck noodles is" hahahah..... oops but i didn't raise my hand so jun yao got the opportunity instead to share about his conviction in his "skin-whitening program" hahahahah.......
