i've just finished watching the prequel to detective conan (live drama version)LOL
so interesting. i've always loved conan.
speaking about anime (which prob is the love of my life), i really have to affirm 'kids central'.
yes, the mediacorp's tv channel.
they are actually showing the latest d.gray-man series every fri night, same week telecast with japan.
that makes them even faster than any downloadable fansub.. even youtube.
i have to say that i am amazed and impressed.. LOL.
recently, i am totally hooked to this series.. the anime is as accurate as the original manga (which is very good). probably one of the best. for now.
it's funny how i can be so excited over something that is not real.

the preparation.....
mei made so many 'balls' that i think she's scared of newspapers now =P
miss g climbed up and down the ladder to hang the bells.. she got so hungry that she mistook one of the bell as an apple.... poor sheep...
reina did so well with the ribbons...
junhuang's preparing for the games. thank God that he's not blowing balloons again this year

before the party ended, i had to take a picture with ms. frosty.... she's the winner of the dressing up game after all....
looking more like a puppy (compared to a snowman) with jacky chan's nose, she's definitely the perfect mascot for our 'we love to go shopping' team... hahaaa.. i still don't understand why wilfred named our team that way.. considering that there were more guys inside..

merry christmas!~woo going back to work tmw.. it's been a great time resting..
last fri, my boss passed me her own baked fruit cake.. it tastes heavenly.. according to shirls, better than those sold outside. lol.
anyway, i had a greeat time at xmas party last nite. reached the venue very early to help out in decoration. well, i didn't do much but nic did a great job in creating the snowman (aka grand frosty)

germs did really well in decorating the place.. it was really fun preparing everything from scratch.. something that we seldom do nowadays. the place was totally empty when we reached, but by the nightfall, we transformed it nicely.
and the view was fantastic.. esplanade at nite is beautiful... i think joseph, merv and weiling took some very good pics.. hope that i can post them here next time. the moon was so round and big... clear sky.. God gave us such a perfect atmosphere for xmas...
the guys set up a 'cocktail bar' and everyone seemed to flock over it. LOL. including me.
really well done to all who made this happen. i'm happy to be in the commitee this year working with you guys.
we had lots of ppl (including 'new friends') turning up, more than what we expected..
after the party, some of us who did not want to end the night (susi, weiling, mei, es, germs, jon, junhuang, johnnie, aaron and me) decided to walk down to clarke quay for an extended party. hahaaa.. i think it was almost 4 am by the time i reached home.
nothing beats celebrating christmas with family of God.

it's really a weird week.. i found myself sleeping most of the time.. and woke up in a really weird timing.. afternoon...some ppl said that i'm feeling more tired nowadays cos my hair is too long... too heavy... i wonder.
anyway, i had a good time these past 2 days.
met evelyn yesterday before she flew back to aussie again. we had lots of food and drinks together, walked around and at the end decided to go to the xmas ss.. i stayed for a while before going for another round of short shopping.
we ended the day with a very late dinner with susi and weiling.. and we met adrian.. so we sat together and had a really funny conversation.
ok i think i am talking in circles.. getting sleepy.
after service today, many of us went to junming's house just to hang out. germs and elaine tried very hard to train his dog ><
and i really enjoyed the dinner.. holland's xo beehoon is nicee.
but more than anything, i am reminded again today on God's faithfulness. how i have been transformed in a small and big way.
everything's real.
i feel so thankful.

while i was 'recuperating' at home, i re-discovered the cruelty of korean scriptwriters. i truly believe that they are sadistic ppl.they just love making their characters to either die or being separated.
SIGH.
anyway, enough about that..
thanks for all who are concerned. i am no longer sick.
i took a break from lying on my bed last nite to go for the long awaited gathering. LOL. we had an early celebration for dewen's bday. it's always been a fun and good time whenever 4 of us gather, they just know how to entertain one another as i would sit back and watch the 'show' =P
we took lots of stupid pics, but i think i will just post one.. the most normal pic...
christmas is coming... i feel joyful and broke... more on broke.. and trying to be more joyful bout it ><

i was not feeling very well. so i took a bus home thinking that it would be a long walk from mrt.
but there was no empty seat on the bus.
i stood up for about half of an hour. by the time i sat down, i felt like i wanted to vomit.
i finally reached my stop.
the moment i stepped out of the bus, i could smell a strong durian smell.
there was a durian stall right behind the bus stop -_-
i went ahead to the coffee shop to buy dinner and the rain started to pour like nobody's business.
i had my jacket and umbrella with me but it's really cold out there.
LOL. sometimes i really think that God is very humorous.
but i'm just thankful that i'm alive. that's enough.
anyway after having my dinner and a dosage of anime, i'm feeling MUCH better.

i'm sick again. sigh. i must have fallen sick for at least 10 times this year (a new record)look at it positively, this is definitely my last headache, last flu, last sore throat and last fever that i have for year 2007.. and i think i should be ok by 24th dec.
today ps jeff mentioned bout maintaining relationship with the ppl around us. there are indeed certain ppl that you've always wanted to catch up with but the day never comes... until one day you may see this person under obituary column. that's scary.
i saw sam after ss today and realized that we haven't really been catching up with one another. it's been almost 4 years since we've been saying that we should catch up. 4 years. man.. if i may quote, all these while, no action talk only. LOL.
so we decided to apply what was preached immediately. no more delay. finally. haha.
i just had a good talk with huimin a few days ago as well.. after sooo long. actually there are still a lot more.. those who have not really talked to me for years.. it's time.
we have to meet up.. i want to talk to you guys ><

goodness.. i am soo sleepy. LOL.last night was our youth 10th anniversary at spore sports school, a place out of civilization- woodlands it is.
i met nic, yanz, bao, gerald, jx, pris and shufen before we went there together. i guess we're a bit worried being out of place considering that some of the youth are half our age. true enough, it's a weird feeling seeing all of them sitting on the floor while we sat on the chairs. LOL. oh well..
let me speak a bit about the current youth. somehow the term 'growing from glory to glory' kept flashing on my mind last nite. they have improved so much and yet they still have so much talents and potentials to develop ><
each district did a presentation to represent passion, sacrificial, love, unity etc.. and i have to say that i enjoyed it. some very creative acts.
almost all the 'alumni' left around 11 pm but the concert has not even started yet. i was hesitating for a while between staying and going home.. but.. i promised guo that i would stay till the end, besides personally i myself wanted to see the concert... lol.. so i stayed back. mei, esmond, roy & tbk were there as well (these are crazy ppl who do not need to sleep)
it was almost 2 am when we left the place.
anyway well done to the stage ministers. the pnw was vibrant, happening & ministering. i stood on a chair in order to get a better view and almost fell a few times..
cfni's running was a big surprise.
it's really amazing indeed how God has brought all of us through in this church. i was reminded of my groups, friends and challenges that i've met up to this day. youth ministry was a big part of it. there are so so many.. i'm grateful.

i've been trying to find exciting things nowadays.. december is such a cold sleepy month..
on monday, germs and i went to venue of our upcoming xmas party. located at clarke quay, i really think that the view's really nice. esplanade, the ferris wheel and all the buildings look pretty. and there's a pool...
it's going to be a great nite.. so thankful to those who are cracking their brains for the event and decorations..
as for the rest.. you should know what you should do =p
another exciting thing (especially for the guys) is our very own upcoming soccer league.

LOL. honestly, i didn't really expect that she could. she's lying dead on bed now.
i need to start with my running but just can't seem to bring myself to wear the sport shoes again.
anyway, it's been a fruitful week. i met germs and her colleague on thu nite, didn't expect that we ended up sharing the gospel directly to him. we drew the bridge diagram and tried to answer some of his tough questions. it's really great that God just opened the way. he wanted to read the bible and to understand more about Him. though he didn't fully accept what we said, it's a big step.
it's true that there are many ppl out there who have questions and they just need someone to share and explain.. just like Philip and the eunuch in the book of Acts.
the corporate prayer meet on fri nite was great. i just enjoyed the feeling of being drowned in God's presence thru praise and worship.
when it was the time of prayer, the HS just prompted me to go down and pray for my cousin. he's having cancer, last stage. things don't look too good for him now and although honestly i don't really know him that well, it's just sad to hear this news.. moreover i know that the mother is heartbroken.
pat prayed for me and there is one thing that she said which i found it really true. most of my relatives (from dad's side) are not believers yet. though they may not know that we (and the church) pray for them especially through this tough times, God will reveal Himself in time. i just hope that perhaps through this, God will somehow open a way and bring salvation to everyone in the family. that's my hope.
