just came back from ddmm, we cooked for lunch together... errm well actually jasmine, li yan and jenny cooked together... qiu fang was constantly on the phone, sam was tryin to prove his skills in soccer (ps2) and i got hooked by this comic book series-- detective conan... haha but after that sam tried to steam the fish which turned out to be... terribly disfigured... -_-" but me and jenny assured him that looks is not important, it's the character that matters... hahah true indeed the fish tasted not bad well at least i finished up everything.... anyway today was very relaxing and i think sp hq is a very comfortable place.... hmm...

yesterday we all went to the "remaking singaporean youth" seminar at orchard hotel, a bit rush as the timing was right in the middle of 1st service, but anyway i think we all learned a lot. it was quite interesting, a lot of principles that i found similar with ours, like character moulding, risk taking, dream big and many more. not many ppl can give up things in their lives to pursue their dreams... hmm suddenly reminds me of the short film "ray of hope"
during the cg404 meet learned 2 main keys that are very important :
1. Sow As You Go
anytime anywhere anyone... keep sowing ppl!
2. Time Is Your Life
time is short, don't use it for things that will turn out to nothing at the end!
this month will be the month of harvest again ppl! we have to work hard and prepare for it!

"PAO BHA JI" nope it's not another "uulu" road name, but it's a nice Indian food; a mix of potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, carrots and lots of chillies. ok it may not sound very appealing but it's nice.. and you eat it with toast bread...nyam...nyam...
well if u're wondering how i know bout this, veda (one of my new la salle friend) invited me to her house for a meal today. haha it took me almost 3 hours to get there, well actually i alighted at the wrong bus stop, then after that took the wrong bus again arrgghh....but yeah finally found the place after a long walk.... her house's nice man...it's so near the beach (east coast) great view.... anyway she prepared this pao bha ji for me, then choc cake hehe after that guess what we did? we played...scrabble... wah a real mind squeezing game, she's so good with it man.... overall it's a fun time and i got to know her much better....
just finished reading this book "A Life God Rewards" by Bruce Wilkinson it's a good eye opener, now i understand more about our rewards in heaven and true indeed... everything we do today matters forever... and the funny thing is when i just finished it on the bus, suddenly i saw this sign of "wilkinson road"....hmmm... so coincidence...

haha this morning i went to watch movie with huimin, she got 2 free tickets for my tutor's friend yes that korean show... and true indeed the male character got something called STYLE man... he's cool!! no wonder they've been sayin this movie is good, it's so funny... enjoyed it a lot especially there were only like 5 ppl there, felt like watching at our own home theatre...
after that we had shepherding and went down to thames together, wah lots of new faces now that new term has just started, met quite a few new friends... anyway it was a fruitful day!

yeah i got my broadband hiehiehie....now i don't need to worry about the phone bills when i use the net, or worry about using the phone and online at the same time.... hmm indeed solve me a lot of problems.... shall make full use of it man...yesterday ulc was very interesting, we learned about different personalities, we did some tests and played some games, very interactive class and was really fun indeed... yup i fall to the category of S-I an advisor and technician..... totally agree with it...
yan yan went to malaysia... won't be back till next month hmm suddenly the house a bit quiet haha will miss her a lot...

a day of learning indeed... yesterday pastor ben preached about pride and glorifying God... true indeed, pride can bring you to total destruction, as it is said "Pride is the capital of kingdom of hell"
and i think daniel's testimony bout bgr really came on time hahah yes i think that will inspire lots of ppl, we "choose" not to fall to temptation but we wait for the right timing, better to remain unattached than choosin the wrong one hahaha i'd better stop before this becomes a bgr seminar....

feelin extremely at peace now... heard bout some stuffs last night that really made my blood boiled...was not pleasant at all... couldn't even enjoy my sleep... thank god today is my shepherding day with jasmine, met her early in the morning and yes she reminded me a lot of things, i really must improve my love and patience more. not just in handling the group but also in personal life, from job, pass, financial and a whole lot more. god has the best plan for all of us and i know he has reserved for me also. spent the whole morning talkin and at the end we didn't have enough time for the teaching haha.....
really blessed to be in the church... am really encouraged by pastor jeff's emails, thanks pastor =)
just wanna point out one thing, if you think that leaders are leadin a boring, lonely and miserable life, you'd better think twice... we are leadin more purposeful and meaningful life as we know all we're doin are for god, no greater joy than that... and we do have social life also just in case you didn't notice....
* be accountable to your leaders
* know when confidentiality is needed
* gossip is no 1 killer
* look at the mirror first before u start judging others please

yup everybody i just had 2 new friends from la salle confirmed going to the arts feast tmw nite hehe and they're from drama course (dewen will be happy for this). actually when i went down alone to the school yesterday and saw all the "eerrm a bit different" drama and dance students, my first thought was "Dear Lord i can't do this!!!" but then i reprimanded myself yes "what are you doing miss livi grace melinda, just GO!!" so i just put on my sweetest smile and invited them straight to the arts feast.... hehe it's not hard anyway, all you need is courage really, besides God is with us! wah pray that more and more ppl will call me to confirm comin tmw...
was just talkin to david, haha i think he's excited bout the ns thing, at last the-day is here... dun worry i suppose it won't be that scary... but anyway we all will keep you in prayer man =)
and i think ethan need it too as he'll be playin every week for sat now that he's the only bassist left hahah.... hmm we seriously need more musicians......

lots of ppl fell sick...i think germs have been flying around. ppl..please be careful, take care and rest well, especially in times of project deadlines and exams, wouldn't want our physical weakness to hinder us in serving the Lord...
anyway, we just signed up for broadband (at last...!!) it is time already since me and shirls are quite heavy users. and i just watched finding nemo yeah i know it's a bit outdated but never got time to watch it till today, it's very nice indeed..no wonder so many ppl crazy bout it last time....
had a fruitful time of shepherdin with huimin just now, a bit hard to meet up with her lately as her time table and projects are real killers. anyway girl i'm glad to see the way you made certain decisions and your willingness... grown indeed!! =)

am at pearline's house now.. missed the last bus so stayin overnight... we went to the hillsongs concert just now, well i saw some of our ppl there but we kind of sat at different seats, anyway the whole thing was...ok... hmm personally i think it's not the best but then it's still a good time of praisin and worshippin God... and indeed it's a great view seeing so many ppl doin it together....
after that we went for late supper, well we queued at kfc for a period of time that felt like hours to me (God's tryin to mould my patience), by the time we finished it's almost midnight...argh... jon's mom drove us to bedok so here i am now sitting in front of pearl's pc and typing my blog hmmm anyway thanks pearl.... =)
talkin about today, it started with ddmm at joo chiat, this morning was freezing cold... and jasmine asked me to lead the worship kind of last minute, haha i think i still need to improve my guitar strumming a lot more.... and surprisingly we talked about soccer a lot especially jasmine haha....
then after that i went down to school to take my last exam, it's quite amazing that i felt very calm, haha they all said that i didn't look like someone who's going to take an exam, hmm think back again i never feel nervous during exam period, ppl there's nothin to be afraid of about exams... just do your best and God will do the rest! anyway i managed to finish it early and that's why i could meet the rest of ppl on time to go together to the hillsongs...

too tired to blog last night... anyway the missions service was great... some of the adult choir was there. anyway after this i will be off from my floor managing duty for a few weeks hmm it is time to really focus on my ppl and go to wfl!
the poly clm at night was really really fun man... we were having a simple cg (4 groups), and i think we all really enjoyed it thoroughly and lots of funny things goin on also. the best part came last, lalita was leading this praise "my life is in you" and she got her self-created action for it, it was totally unbelievably creative and super hilarious hahahah.... i think none of us in the meetin will forget it man..

just got back from arts feast.. wah i'm so amazed man...!!! the opening song was a blast, loved the lead singer (female ok...) i think she really got style..well so was the drummer..hehe
overall was great performances by every single band, from the cat duet (interestin one), solo performance which i found the guitar very nice... even the chinese songs.. powerful voice.. and the closing song which was very cool also with josherine (yes our dear josh) as one of the back-up dancer... haha she's good...totally amazed by her, she should join the dance team haha...
hmm pity not many youth ppl came, i think only about 10 plus.. i was sitting with yan2 and 2 of josh's colleagues and her child (cute...) right in the middle..good seat.. could see the whole stage clearly.. enjoyed the whole night man... i loved it a lot!
ppl if u missed this one...really too bad...but at least don't miss next week dance and drama *_* and we shall bring more visitors and friends ok!!

ppl... our youthdna website is finally out! *clap clap* thank God for everybody's hardwork, especially serene. meanwhile we will update the web again and make it even nicer...
went down to la salle with huimin yesterday, haven't been there for quite some time... it was a fruitful trip.. overall we made almost 20 new friends!! hopefully they'll come to the arts feast...
met justin there, and also alex.. didn't know he's a student there, haven't seen him for very long... and the biggest surprise is we met pei pei... yes she's there also.. haiz suddenly like back to old times...
after that we had shepherdin well couldn't find a place to sit so we just went to a small park opposite the school and sat on the bench hahah a very interesting place for shepherding...

had a fun learning at ulc just now... well basically:
1) eat veggie is good if u wanna live longer and serve God
2) moles are really destructive to the lawn and can cause a fight between you and neighbours
3) the new band in the town "WHO?" is really crappy indeed
hahahaha....... -_-" sorry just kidding.....
but seriously it was a very enjoyable class and learned a lot bout management today.. specially self management yeah... and got to know some new ppl from other groups from sunday ss.

ladies and gentleman... i'm officially a lobster now... haha... went to east coast today, we had serve singapore well picked up litter. the place was quite clean so we only spent a while to finish it.
then i went for kayaking... oh man it was totally fun, never tried it before.. at last today! well i was kind of stuck at the shore at the beginning haha but after a while.. it turned out to be quite easy *thank you ray*
enjoyed it a lot, shall go again next time.. it's just that since nobody brought sun block today, now i'm sufferin for it... plus body aching... 0_0
heard about huimin playin soccer with the guys... and she scored a goal... wow don't know what to say girl... pity i wasn't there to catch you in action hahah....
and i got to know some friends better today, i think it's really a good way of fellowship.. fruitful day indeed...
we went to jenny's workplace (tcc) for meeting after that, it was very funny.. she really provided the best customer service to us.. and we had a very nice and full lunch with a 'disposed cheese cake' haha.... anyway thanks jenny...

just woke up from my long sleep haha feelin very tired today, i guess i will sleep again after this. it's the national day and it feels like we had the shortest service ever, interesting when everybody excitedly sang the national day song, hmm never really celebrated mine, in fact never even thought bout it.. 0_0 is it wrong?
anyway after that since most of my ppl having family day so i just went home and made a trip to "cotton land"....
wanna pray for li yan... she's not really ok =( hope she's feeling better now, let's pray together for her ok?

time goes very slow today, for the first time since don't know when, i woke up at 6 am this morning. meeting my ppl at 7 and hmm everybody's late... i think we all need good time management..including me 0_0
was very blessed by one of my sheep (charlene)'s parents... as we had a very full and nice...and i mean really really nice.. lunch together. it's nice to know her family much better now and charls just wanna affirm you for being strong through all the things going on in your life now... trust in the Lord ok!
and yes today's our district prayer meet... and it was a great and inspiring one indeed, thoroughly enjoyed the worship. thanks ray for preparing the lyrics and surprise surprise your handwriting is very neat and nice.. shall ask you again next time hehe... thanks pearl, for the third time, really enjoyed leading together with you.. well you lost a pick again today and hope your finger's ok =) and big thanks to SP for being such a good host and prepared the drinks for us...!
we prayed a lot bout missions and cg.. new cg,new leaders,new cls... ppl we're gonna have faith in God for 17 ppl amen and 5 converts! new CL by end of this month!

heard a lot of funny stuffs going on these few days.. just wanna point out one thing-- accountability to your leader is very important ladies and gentleman, and i'm glad that my ppl always able to account to me... it does need courage and obedience...
had a practice for dpm this afternoon with pearline.. just opposite starhub, couldn't find a nearer place to nexus. well i think we sang quite loud, some ppl stopped and looked at us, good thing they didn't throw coins haha... thank you pearline for changing all the chords to accomodate my 'can't reach high' voice...
we went to the ulc together after that, pastor ben was teaching. it was a very interesting lesson, and all of us found the book very nice indeed. it's true when pastor asked why do you want to become a UL..?? at the end we do all of this for kingdom of God, not for ourself. we are all servants amen?

went to the missions service at nexus this morning, it was really amazing. it really hit me today.. can't really describe my feeling when i saw the video clip of ppl all over the world praising god, wanting to fulfill the great commission. couldn't agree more that life is indeed very short, we should just GO for Jesus! it's interesting when pastor chua said that 2/3 of GOD is GO that's why we should just go for Jesus!
wanna share some points in the sermon that really struck me...our biggest contradiction in life:
1. we know salvation's time is now but we do little for the worldwide
2. we enjoy God's pardon for ourselves, yet we keep it from un-reached people
3. we are Christ's ambassadors but we don't go
4. we declare the truth of bible, yet we disobey it
i thoroughly enjoyed the service.. not just the worship time which was superb but i really captured the vision of going for missions.. thank God i went today, it was totally inspiring!

fell asleep early last night so didn't blog. just wanna comment that our y-hope live @ nexus was great also... i really enjoyed the whole service man, great performances by everybody.. and surprised to hear my old time fave song -no one loves me like you- haha...really nice.....
the CLM at night was inspiring also.. we learned about true worship and had a great time of worshipping God at the end. and we celebrated 650 together!!! our next goal is 700 ppl and it shall be done!!
